Alas, can't seem to be finding it (you aren't referring to this, are you?) But yeah, that's the driving force as a general rule for non tech-savvy users. My primary source for that? Personal observations over the years (I've handled several tens of thousands of calls from such users in my lifetime (about 40-70 calls per 8-9 hour shift (let's say ~50 on average) *5-6 shifts per week, ~>2.5 yrs in various places, cut 10% for calls about problems not related to the user)). The general picture? Files are sitting on the desktop or "my documents" folder, the wireless network is open for everyone, the computer is sluggish because they click yes for every program that tries to install itself in the startup as well as agree to add every possible toolbar including spyware (especially spyware. that's why you have all these botnets). True, my statistics may be inherently flawed, but that's the general picture from my experience.
